Rivers Academy Uniform Policy
A significant feature of life in our new academy will be the exciting changes to our uniform. As I am sure your child will have informed you, blazers will be compulsory for all students in Year 7 – 11 from September 2011 and our Sixth Form students will all have to wear formal business suits.

As is clearly stated in the rationale of the policy there are excellent reasons for having a smart, comfortable and affordable uniform and we are going to apply our high expectations about it to all students from the first day of term. Students will be turned away from the Academy gates if they are not dressed according to the Rivers Academy Uniform Policy.
We request that parents and carers insist that their children are properly dressed and equipped every day and support the Academy’s drive for the highest standards.
